And those that thought (or hoped) his “Ego” would take a step back can have a royal seat, as Kanye shares, he “embodies every characteristic of the ego-tistic.”
From the moment “Power” opens with a group chant, it’s clear Mr. West is going to break his silence in the aftermath of the 2009 VMA's and break it hard. Sampling King Crimson’s “21st Century Schizoid Man,” “Power” is both projective and reflective as Yeezy implies “No one man should have all that power,” but stop trippin’ folks… he’s trippin’ off the power.
