The first video off Faimkills beast of a record Dystopia Cornucopia. I'm liking this video it really gives you a great visual of what Dystopia Cornucopia is really all about and what it represents. Keep up the good work Faim.
OOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEEEE! Here’s a new leak off Pete Rock & Smif-N-Wessun’s collaboration album Monumental, “Prevail” featuring Raekwon. Although it was scheduled to drop in November, the LP has unfortunately been pushed back to 2011. If you ain't feeling this you better check your pulse or just stop listening to hip-hop music.
Nas teams up with legendary guitarist Carlos Santana to remake the classic AD/DC song “Back In Black”. The song will be featured on Carlos Santana’s next album entitled Guitar Heaven coming out on September 21st. I'm not feeling this doesn't do the original much justice. I would've expected more from the two legends.
Lets have a toast for the Douche Bags! We must be time traveling because it’s not G.O.O.D Friday, and we already have the CDQ of the song Kanye West performed at the VMA’s. This is my favorite track so far off Kanye's upcoming album "Dark Twisted Fantasy"(formerly known as Good Ass Job) which is set to realease November 16, 2010.
Featured Denon DJ and UK DMC champion JFB, shows off the new Denon DN-HC1000s controller.
Okay ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you one of the newest midi controllers on the market (well, technically not on the market until next month), the Denon DH-HC1000s. This controller is specifically made for Serato, approved by the Serato folks, but can be used with other DJ software, such as Traktor. This controller enables you to have access to all the features of Serato Scratch Live in one area without touching your laptop or dropping $1500 for the Rane TTM-57SL mixer. Make sure you check the Denon site for their latest product releases, one in particular quickly becoming my favorite, would be their new cd turntable the DN-S3700, featuring a 9" moving platter and USB hosting.
Key Features for the DN-HC1000s:
MIDI Sub Controller for SeratoTM Scratch Live
Simple USB Plug & Play Connection (USB MIDI / Bus power)
Dedicated Tactile Controls to Replace Computer Keyboard Shortcuts
High Quality Steel Cabinet with Rugged Rubber Keys
This track is dope but the backstory for “Yo Momma on Ya” is even better….the hook is originally created by a well-known homeless guy named Red who was first recorded by the folks at the HVW8 Art Gallery in Los Angeles. Red was living in the alley behind their gallery. Cam actually paid for the rights to the song. But then Red disappeared! So now…Cam and Snoop are hoping that by putting out the song, someone will track down Red, so they can make sure he’s getting his money and can get in the video.
