Cam’ron feat. Jim Jones and Snoop Dogg “Yo Momma On Ya”: The search for Red the Homeless Singer
This track is dope but the backstory for “Yo Momma on Ya” is even better….the hook is originally created by a well-known homeless guy named Red who was first recorded by the folks at the HVW8 Art Gallery in Los Angeles. Red was living in the alley behind their gallery. Cam actually paid for the rights to the song. But then Red disappeared! So now…Cam and Snoop are hoping that by putting out the song, someone will track down Red, so they can make sure he’s getting his money and can get in the video.

Turntable 2sday: DMC Champion DJ Shiftee + Traktor
For this week's installment of Turntable 2sday, Native Instruments brings us a DMC Champion doing his thang with a combination of Traktor and the X1 controller. DJ Shiftee takes the forever classic "Hip Hop" performed by Dred Prez and flips into a dub step remix. I am more and more impressed with Traktor and the X1 controller every time I see one of these videos, I guess it also helps that some of the best turntablists in the world are involved.
With the addition of digital interfaces combined with the creative mind of a DJ, producer, singer or whatever you are, levels of performance are becoming limitless. Back in the day DJs thought technology would never even come close to matching the art form, but now technology is not only pushing the art form, but allowing various art forms to come together and go places above and beyond.

"Repercussions" Lauryn Hill
Yes ladies and gentlemen, we have something new and fresh from Ms. Hill. Lauryn Hill disappeared off the map with an occasional sighting here and a rumor there, but now she appears to back. She was at the Harmony Festival a couple a months ago in Santa Rosa, heard she had a few shows in Africa, and now she's set to be at Rock The Bells coming up in a few weeks. I hope she's back and comes with that same creative fire that won her five Grammy awards, including Album Of The Year, and Best New Artist.
